| Blades Edge is one of the oldest guilds, created in May 2007, on World of Warcraft's US-Burning Legion Server. From the start, the guild has been a casual and social one, with a strong emphasis on mutual respect of players in the guild, as well as others outside it. In 2010, the guild started raid progression. We began with the earliest raids and we also do current raid content. Our aim is to be an end-game raiding guild while preserving the original, prevailing character of the guild. |

A Welcomed Warlock
|
Our latest recruit is Immamac. He is especially welcomed to the guild as he fills the empty warlock spot on our raiding team. That said, all our recruits make a difference and, as all of them know, are typically greeted with a string of "welcomes" when they join.
(As it happens, Immamac ran Baradin Hold 25man with some guild members later including Hotparty, Mystogun, and Seramon and won Balespider's Leggings). |

Blades Edge held its first scheduled RBG on Saturday night. We had a guild team with two PuGs. However, two players dc'd as soon as the game began and by the end of the game a third disconnected leaving us 7v10. This made a hard game, but we held our own for a while on defense. We will try again next week Saturday 7pm. We have some good PVPers in the guild and if our internet connections hold, maybe this will improve our chances of winning.

After the Fact

The guild downed Occu'thar again this week on Tuesday, August 16th. Even though we killed Argaloth weeks ago, we decided to kill him again too.

Occ on the Block
|
After a hiatus from raiding, we did our first Cataclysm raid last night. Defeating Occu'thar in Baradin Hold, we earned our first Guild Raid Challenge and 1,000 gold for the guild bank. Two caster items dropped, a mage set-piece Firehawk Gloves and Ruthless Gladiator's Pendant of Diffusion, both won by our guild mage Vigrant.
